Software Developer

My client, a successful and expanding Financial Services business, is seeking a Software Developer to join their development team. This is an exciting chance to work on a diverse range of cloud-based applications utilising your full stack .NET skills.
As a Software Developer, you’ll be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, following Agile/Scrum methodologies. You will design, develop, test, and support external applications, as well as internal tools, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and compliance requirements. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and strong collaboration with various teams, including product management and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop full-stack application code, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and operational support teams.
- Ensure compliance with security and business requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, MVC and ASP.NET.
- Knowledge of database design and SQL technologies.
- Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Proficiency in React for front-end development.
- Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
